Data Deletion Request for Glitz
If you are a GLITZ user and wish to request the deletion of your account and personal data, please follow the steps below. This will ensure that we process your request promptly and in compliance with data protection regulations.
Steps to Request Account Deletion
- Email Us: Send an email to contact@glitzshopping.com from the email address associated with your GLITZ account. In the subject line, please include “Data Deletion Request.”
- Verify Your Identity: For security purposes, you may be asked to verify your identity.
- Confirm Data Deletion: Once your request is confirmed, all associated personal data will be removed in accordance with our Data Retention Policy (see below).
Types of Data Deleted
Upon successful verification, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- Account Information: Profile details, login credentials, and associated preferences.
- Transaction History: Records of past purchases and browsing history on GLITZ.
- Social Media Interactions: Any posts, comments, or engagement within the GLITZ social platform.
Data Retention Exceptions
In compliance with legal and business requirements, some information may be retained for a specified period even after account deletion:
- Financial Records: Transaction data may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with California state and federal accounting and regulatory obligations.
- Security Logs: Certain data, like IP logs, may be kept for up to 6 months for fraud prevention and security compliance.
